    Company Overview: Introduction to the company’s design process, project management tools, and work culture.
    Tools & Software Setup: Ensure interns have access to the necessary design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, InVision, Canva, etc.) and website development tools (HTML/CSS/JavaScript, CMS platforms like WordPress or Webflow).
    Intro to Design Principles: Basic overview of design principles (balance, contrast, typography, color theory, white space, alignment).
    Design Team Introduction: Meet the design team and understand the role of website and graphic designers within the company.
  2. Foundational Skills Development (Week 2-3)
    Graphic Design Basics:
    Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator: Teach how to create and manipulate graphics, vector design, raster images, and logos.
    Color Theory: Understanding color schemes, contrast, and psychology of color in design.
    Typography: Learn about font pairings, font selection, and how typography affects design.
    UI/UX Design Principles: Introduction to creating user-centered designs that are visually appealing and intuitive to use.
    Website Design:
    Wireframing & Prototyping: Introduce tools like Figma or Adobe XD for wireframing and prototyping designs for websites.
    Responsive Design: Understand how to design websites that work across various devices and screen sizes.
    HTML & CSS Basics: Teach interns basic HTML and CSS for structuring and styling web pages.
    WordPress & Webflow (or other CMS platforms): Familiarize interns with using website builders and CMS platforms to create responsive, functional websites.
  3. Design Process & Workflow (Week 4-6)
    Client Briefing & Research: Interns will work with a mentor to review client briefs, identify goals, target audience, and design preferences.
    Sketching & Mood Boards: Interns create initial sketches and mood boards to align with the design vision.
    UI/UX Design Process:
    User Research: Learn how to conduct user research to inform design choices.
    Wireframing: Create wireframes and low-fidelity prototypes to visualize structure.
    Prototyping & User Testing: Develop interactive prototypes and understand basic usability testing to validate designs.
    Design Collaboration: Interns collaborate with developers and other team members to ensure design feasibility and functionality.
  4. Practical Application & Shadowing (Week 7-8)
    Website Redesign or Feature Addition: Assign interns a live project to redesign a website or create a new feature. This will involve research, design, and iteration.
    Hands-On Graphic Design Tasks: Interns create marketing materials (banners, ads, posters), social media graphics, or logos for company projects.
    Workshops: Hold specific design workshops on advanced topics, like:
    Advanced Photoshop/Illustrator techniques.
    Design Systems: Understand the importance of consistency in design using design systems.
    Accessibility in Design: Teach web accessibility standards to ensure designs are inclusive for all users.
    Client Feedback: Interns participate in client review meetings and learn how to incorporate feedback into designs.
  5. Soft Skills & Collaboration (Throughout the Program)
    Time Management: Interns will manage their time effectively, balancing multiple design projects and deadlines.
    Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior designers, developers, and marketing teams to understand how design fits into the broader workflow.
    Client Communication: Guide interns on how to present designs to clients, articulate design decisions, and handle feedback professionally.
    Creative Problem-Solving: Develop problem-solving techniques when design challenges arise, such as when working with limited resources or tight deadlines.
  6. Final Project & Presentation (Week 9-10)
    Capstone Project: Interns will create a full website design or graphic design project from scratch, which includes:
    Research & Concept Development: Gather insights, define project goals, and outline design concepts.
    Design & Prototyping: Produce wireframes, prototypes, or high-fidelity designs.
    Development Collaboration: If relevant, hand off the designs to developers for implementation (or collaborate on the coding).
    Final Presentation: Interns present their designs to the team or stakeholders, explaining their design process and decisions.
    Portfolio Development: Guide interns in assembling their best work from the internship into a portfolio.
  7. Post-Internship Evaluation & Career Development
    Feedback Session: Provide constructive feedback on the intern’s work, including strengths and areas for growth.
    Portfolio Review: Review the intern’s portfolio and help them refine it with their newly gained skills.
    Resume & Career Guidance: Offer advice on how to position themselves for future job opportunities in design.
    Future Opportunities: Discuss the possibility of a full-time position or provide references for future job searches.
  8. Tools & Resources
    Learning Platforms: Recommend platforms like Skillshare, LinkedIn Learning, or YouTube tutorials for ongoing learning.
    Design Communities: Encourage joining online design communities (e.g., Behance, Dribbble, Designer Hangout).
    Books: Suggest books on design theory, UX/UI principles, and the latest trends in web and graphic design.
    Mentorship: We Pair the intern with a senior designer for continued learning and one-on-one support.
